For my Dad. When the doctors found a tumour on his liver, I
battled anger and questioned God repeatedly. I finally had to
let go. The cry of Job came from deep within; “Yet will I praise
you!” It was then that His peace came to us. When we let go,
that was when the healing came too. My Dad is alive and
cancer free.
These waves capsize me
And I lose my hold
I cry, nobody can hear me
And I’m swept away by the tow
Oh-oh yet will I praise You
Oh-oh Yet will I cry
My hope will ever be in You
Whatever I go through
You are my Shelter
And my praise will flow endlessly
I worship at Your feet
You are my Shelter
You say You’ll never leave me
I’m holding on to those words
Your voice, a light into my darkness
The sweetest thing I’ve ever heard
