Sunrise Bed & Breakfast is run by Jan Hou and Sylvia Lyu. Our B&B is located in Guoyeh Village, Huhsi Township on the main island of the Penghu archipelagoes. Guoyeh is a quiet fishing village just five minutes’ drive from the airport and 15 minutes’ drive from Makung City. Guoyeh has always been renowned for its spectacular sunrise from the sea. That is why our B&B is named Sunrise.
Our Rooms
Our deluxe double rooms are furnished with top quality furniture, LCD TV, fridge and a well-equipped bathroom. One of them features an ocean view while the other offers a view of the village. Our standard rooms come with their own private bath and windows with a view. There is also a communal lounge area with great panoramic ocean view on the third floor. Our Activities
There are a number of activities available at our B&B and throughout the entire archipelagoes. If you are interested in surfing, Greg Nolan is the person to see. Australian by origin and an experienced surfer, Greg now calls Penghu home. Surf with him and you will love surfing in Penghu. Windsurfing is big in winter here, but winter conditions are for experts only. Beginners can experience and enjoy the fun during the summer. Jan moved here three years ago to pursue his love for windsurfing. Check his “Blog” link for all the actions. Penghu is a wonderful place for cycling. The official Huhsi Township bike route is right around our neighborhood and takes you to very secluded beaches frequented only by locals. Ocean kayaking is another unique activity offered by us that you won’t find at any other B&B or hotel establishment in Penghu. We can also help you book a variety of tours and activities.
